Farm holiday by the lake of
Vättern!
Welcome to Krokstorp farm by
the lake of Vättern. This is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, far
from city stress and obligations.
Enjoy the quiet life on a swedish farm with wonderful view over lake and
landscape. Get in touch with the nature and the swedish way of life.
Wake up to a beautiful morning, listen to the birds, have fresh eggs for
breakfast, take a walk and a quick swim in the lake.
Your hosts Lena and Jaan Kello speak good English and look forward to
your visit. You are welcome to bring your own pets, but please inform us in
advance.
Krokstorp farm is owned by Lena and Jaan Kello and origins back many hundred
years. It is a organic farm, with cattle, sheep and hen. You are welcome
to collect your own fresh breakfast egg every morning. Our cat Felix also
belongs to the family and the dog Wilma.
We have two cottages for our guests, the Yellow Cottage and the Red Cottage,
both fully equipped for self catering.
At the lakeside (distance appr. 500 meters) we have our own beach with
sundeck and a rowing boat. Bring down your breakfast or your picknick basket
and enjoy the beauty and lonelyness.
Bed and breakfast
We offer accomodation on a bed and breakfast basis.
We can also offer dinner with local specialities
(if ordered in advance).
PRICES
Under “tour suggestions” you can find information on different activities
for your holiday such as: bycicling, trekking, golf, horse riding,
canoeing.
Menu for our guests
Breakfast is served in our nice dining room or if the weather is nice,
in the garden.

We can offer you dinner if you make a reservation ahead and if we have
the possibility and time

How to find us:
Krokstorp farm is situated 17 km south of Hjo and 51km north of
Jönköping on the road nr 195. You will find a yellow sign “Krokstorp” on
your right hand coming from Jönköping or on your left hand coming from
Hjo.
Distance to Gothenburg 200 km, to Malmö 320 km and to Stockholm 350 km.
